Yew Root Vase

This vase is made from an old yew hedging plant that had been cut down years ago and left under the hedge where it had seasoned nicely and all the sapwood had rotted away leaving only the lovely orange heartwood. The neck of the vase is the root which is where the purple streaks come from.

Measuring Approximately 290mm Tall x 150mm Wide.
